Mike Harbin, MSW, LICSW

Michael Harbin is a licensed graduate social worker with a master’s degree in social work from University of Minnesota-Duluth, with a focus on American Indian Child/Tribal Welfare. Michael completed his undergraduate degree in social work at The College of Saint Scholastica. Michael works with children ages 6 and up, as well as adults. He also has ongoing certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Michael provides clinical assessment and counseling services using cognitive behavioral models, as well as psychoanalytical theory to address the following issues:

Kathy has a Master of Social Work degree (MSW, 2008), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) , Bachelor of Science degree ( B.S) in Child Development and Family Life , Early Childhood Teaching degree and is a Social Work Board approved supervisor of clinicians working towards their professional license. She has a wide variety of experiences with children and families for over 30 years in the capacities of clinical psychotherapist, family/parenting support and therapist, Early Childhood Family Education, workshop presenter, trainer, college professor, writer and researcher. She recently moved to Grand Rapids where her family originated from, so she has been working at CMHS since October 2016.
